| Dear Art Enthusiast,
In the last few months I have been frequently painting en plein air, painting on location, enjoying the quality of light that comes with this late autumn season. I have ventured out to paint nearly every day that has not been too cloudy or with rain. I feel fortunate to have been able to paint 35 new plein air works because of the relatively mild weather we have been experiencing in west Michigan. Some paintings are successful and some are not. That is okay with me since I try to learn something new with each experience. A few of these plein air works will be reworked larger in the studio.
