Dear Art Enthusiast,

Here in Michigan we are all anxiously awaiting the warmer weather. With those thoughts in mind, I have created a body a work this month that lifted my spirits with warm sunshine, bird songs and the sounds of crashing waves. I hope you enjoy the paintings as much as I have in creating them.

The reception for the Great Lakes Pastel Society 2009 Members Show at the Ella Sharp Museum of Art and History took place March 21. I was greatly honored to receive the Gold Medal Award for the pastel Michigan Beach. The exhibit is top notch and up until May 30 in Jackson, MI.
