Dear Art Enthusiast, The snowy weather of February has kept me painting in the studio except for a few ventures out to enjoy the rare occasions of bright sunshine, fresh snow and no wind. New this month is an oil plein-air study of Bear Creek in Townsend Park, a couple of new still lifes and a pastel of waterlilies that gives me hope of summer’s warm air returning soon! I am also excited to tell you that two pastels have been juried into the Great Lakes Pastel Society’s Member Show at the Ella Sharpe Museum in Jackson, Michigan. The accepted work is Gentle Breezes and Michigan Beach. The exhibit will open to the public on March 21 with a reception from 1-3pm. The exhibition closes May 30. Please visit my website at www.KalinowskiFineArt.com for more new work. Also note that the prices include frames. Sincerely, |
