Dear Art Enthusiast,

By now, you may have grown tired of hearing the phrase, “economic stimulus”.  The phrase falls short when the promise of a thriving economy seems out of reach.  Yet, art offers a stimulus genuinely needed in these trying times.  I was reminded of this fact when an ad for an art show caught my eye.  The artist called the exhibit, “Aesthetic Stimulus.”  Art may be the stimulus we need. 

Art has the ability to lift us up, invoke memories, and open our eyes to the beauty around us.  My aesthetic stimulus is a series of miniature pastels.  The smaller scale slows the senses so that we may contemplate the subtle beauty of a scene and stop for a moment to appreciate the simple pleasures of life.  Below, I have featured a sampling of my miniature collection.  An elegant frame draws the eye to a peaceful place and is included in a special price that encourages a growing art collection.
