Dear Art Enthusiasts,
In a few days I hope to see some of you at the artist reception to be held from 5-8pm in Grand Gallery in Ada, MI. The new exhibit “Inspired by Nature” features my work along with Jeffrey Pugh and Kathy Mohl. You can see some of the work on the web site, www.GrandGallery.com. It will be a good show! Also Treeline Gallery in Suttons Bay, MI will be opening on May 19. Already some of my new work has sold to collectors making appointments to buy! DCF Gallery in Grosse Point Woods, MI has a fresh selection of my paintings as well. Northseas Gallery in Charlevoix is open and just sold a painting, it’s new home will be in Tokyo, Japan!
I have been busy painting en plein air when the weather is decent and working in the studio when it is not. My recent projects include some new figurative paintings in pastel that I will highlight in upcoming months. You will be able to see the collection at the July 11 opening reception at Button-Petter Gallery in Douglas, MI.
Please check out my blog, I have more recent posts of new work! I hope you enjoy this early Spring that we are having here in Michigan…now back to the studio!
Cheers,
Kathleen Kalinowski
